What a day! This intricate shoot incorporated video and still photography to culminate in one of our favorite projects to date, a super cool, very dynamic social media campaign for Microsoft Life.
The project included two group shots as well as individual portraits and video interviews with the nine subjects, each who had been asked to bring along an object they feel represents their personal connection with Black History Month.
The image for Instagram was intensely strategic. We created a group shot with the nine employees, positioning them in such a way that each person would occupy a specific square within a grid of three squares across, and three down. When each square was clicked on, it would expand to reveal a portrait and a mini-interview. Learn more about the process on our blog.
